No lights, no booths, no glitter. I guess you can do business under the Madonna on Herrengasse but Francis the First is off limits to commerece! Since this is my first Christmas here I'm looking forward to all the holiday glitter. I do have to say that the preparations are impressive. In Trento Italy, where I have my most recent European Christmas experience, there was just ONE piazza with a few of the little wooden booths.
