		<description>For now, you can get some respite at Freheit Plaz.  No lights, no booths, no glitter.  I guess you can do business under the Madonna on Herrengasse but Francis the First is off limits to commerece!

Since this is my first Christmas here I&#039;m looking forward to all the holiday glitter.  I do have to say that the preparations are impressive.  In Trento Italy, where I have my most recent European Christmas experience, there was just ONE piazza with a few of the little wooden booths.  Here, they seem to be filling every available nook and cranny!

Let the jingles begin!
